ESCUD was recognized by the NCUA Chairman (former) as a unique voice for small credit unions because they provide a CONCRETE list of regulatory relief priorities, rather than just vague generalities. 

 Kyle Hauptman:… I’m aware that people don’t always like pushing back against the regulator who has power over them, right? That’s not how the world should be... You know, there is a guy, Doug Wadsworth. I think he’s starting up this new small credit union thing. And you know, he comes with a whole bunch of details, a list, you know, now some of them, you know, sometimes it’s Congress and it’s not us, sometimes it’s the CFPB rule and not us. But still, you know, concrete things, right?
