To Endorse ESCUD:
Are you a small Credit Union, under $500 million in assets?
Are you devoted to "giving back" to your members and community?
Do you want regulatory relief, to help reduce the suffocating compliance burden?
We don't have "members" and it is FREE to join to make our combined voice stronger. Make sure your board of directors will allow it, then email the endorsement statement below to me at Doug@Tri-CU.com. Follow our advocacy efforts on our LinkedIn group: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/14776042/
"As a small credit union, [Credit Union Name] embraces our not-for-profit cooperative roots and prioritize giving profits back to our members, local communities and the underserved. We endorse the Endangered Small Credit Union Defense (ESCUD) to advocate for reduced regulatory burdens on small credit unions and authorize this 501(c)(4) Nonprofit Social Welfare Organization to represent these interests in lobbying activities, and we explicitly authorize the use of our credit union name accordingly."

ESCUD fiercely advocates to protect small credit unions from extinction by:
Pushing for Regulatory Relief: We advocate for exemption from overly burdensome, costly and pointless regulations. If there isn’t an impact on safety or soundness, it shouldn’t be required.
Promoting Member-Centric Giving: We encourage small credit unions to radically embrace their not-for-profit cooperative roots and prioritize giving profits back to members. This reinforces our core purpose, justifies our tax-exempt status, and better differentiates us from large institutions.
